It is with immense pride and joy that we extend our warmest congratulations to Mr. Kelum Gimendra Jayasuriya, an esteemed old boy of Dharmasoka College, Ambalangoda, on his remarkable appointment as the President of the Pharmaceutical Society of Sri Lanka. This accomplishment stands as a testament to his dedication, expertise, and unwavering commitment to the field of pharmacy.

Mr. Jayasuriya's journey from his formative years at Dharmasoka College to this prestigious leadership role exemplifies the power of education, diligence, and passion.

Mr. Jayasuriya had a significant academic journey. Starting his schooling in 1980 and completing his A/Ls in 1993 indicates a span of thirteen years of education at Dharmasoka. During this time, he was actively involved in extracurricular activities.

He is the Vice president of the DCPPA, Colombo branch and heading the sub committee of web site management. He is currently employed with Asiri group of hospitals, as the group manager pharmacy operations in addition to his role as a consultant to Softlogic pharmaceuticals. He is also recognized as a lecturer and trainer in pharmacy practice where he has being appointed as a visiting lecturer in pharmacy for few  local universities.

His contributions to the pharmaceutical sector have undoubtedly been a source of inspiration for both aspiring pharmacists and seasoned professionals alike.

We wholeheartedly applaud Mr. Kelum Gimendra Jayasuriya on this extraordinary achievement. His journey serves as a shining example to the Dharmasoka College community and beyond, reminding us all that with hard work, determination, and a commitment to making a difference, one can rise to the pinnacle of success.
